Wonka Factory Tour

Thirty minutes after park opening guests will be able to encounter a short five minute show. Guests will see a perfomance of I've Got a Golden Ticket with new lyrics, followed by the opening of the gates to the ride, and it ends with an exciting perfomance of The Candy Man Can.

From here guests past by the opened gates, and towards a large looming ominus factory that uses forced perspective to appear larger than it is. Throughout the day mist will spew out the chimneys to make it seem like a real factory. As guests pass by a fountian incroparting the dolls from Tim Burton film the smell of chocolate being made is wafted towards the guests.

As guests enter the factory they are met with a statue of Willy Wonka.

A plaque sits beneath him reading

"We are the music makers, and the dreamers of dreams" - Willy Wonka

As guests walk through the factory they see a large document being the contract the children signed when they entered the factory. If guests choose to do so they can read the large contract word per word. Observant guests may notice at various complete nonsens words are hidden in plain sight. On the bottom are the signatures of all six of the children.

As guests continue through the queue. Here they encounter smellable wallpaper for nurseries! The scents that one can fine here are

- Apple

- Grape

- Banana

- Orange

- Lemon

- Strawberry

- Cinnamon

- Pumpkin

- Gingerbread

- Chocolate

- Cherry

- Blueberry

- Pineapple

Guests soon enter another hallway of balck and white lines. The queue will seem to be never ending as everywhere the guests turn the paterns are similar, and stay the same color. Eventually mirroring the entrance guests escape the black white portion of the queue. However as they progress into the next portion the room itself will seem to get smaller and smaller as you get closer and closer to the exit doors

The doors will open revealing that they have entered a dark hallway with a river that seems to be made chocoate flowing through the room. .Above the river large factory lights illuminate the room. Various doors housing facilities with fun names are presnt in the room in an otherwise boring room made of cement and brick leading doen to the loading docks for the ... Wonka Tour Boat!

The ride vehicle itself will be built similar to the one seen in the film. It will blend the designs of a guided tour boat ala Jungle Cruise with a traditional boat vehicle ala Pirates of The Carribbean. However there ill be a new addeition. The tour guide will have his/her own captain seat that will controlled by computer on which direction it faces. It also is equiped with a mandatory seatbelt that goes across the waist of the tour guide. Also added are lap bars there are two per row, and each lap bar should be able to fit 2 people.

Tour Guide : Hello, and may I be the first to welcome you all to Willy Wonka's Candy Factory which fas finally been reopen to the public. Only of course of many years of Mr Bucket and Mr Wonka arguing on the future of the company and factory! Now I need to warn you all please keep all arms, legs, accesories, and your little golden tickets, your children inside the vehicle at all times. And remember no standing at all on this ride until the tour comes to an end. This all to ensure your safty and my job! Now wave goodbye to the people on the docks, yeah you'll never see them again considering in our last tour abot 80% of the guests had something happen to them along the way. Don't fret me and the Oompa Loompas are here to make sure you all stay safe.

The boats exit the docks, and they go through a dark tunnel until they enter a room filled with candy. An instrumental version of Pure Imagination plays in the background.. In the candy room guests can see that it is heavily infuenced by the Tim Burton version with a few new Universal touches.

Guests venture out of the dark tunnel into a tunnel made of powdered chocollate the smell of chocolate fills this tunnel until the guests reach the other side. As previously mention it will be heavily based on the Tim Burton version, but there are two additions not previously seen in any film. First hanging from the eiling are various vines and houses which house the Oompa Loompas. Many of the overhead houses will be done by projections, but a particular set of houses are overtop the side of the chocolate lake.

Tour Guide : This here is the Chocolate mixing room! As you can see this whole room is made of candy! Except of course the homes of the Oompa Loompas which can be seen right there.

An Oompa Loompa pops out and waves hello to the guests.

Tour Guide : As you can see we have some Pepperbirch Trees, Wilicorice Trees, oh and that must be new! There's even a few Oacream (Oak-ream) Trees growing!

All the while guests are hearing the Tour Guide speak, and ride the boat navigating along the riverbanks they see bubbles rise from the lake as the large chocolate suction tube comes down. The tube will be equipped with a 360 degree projection system to simmulate chcolate rushing up properly. As the tube touches the chocolate it starts to go up however it becomes clogged.

Tour Guide : Oh dear something must be wrong. Hey! Oompa Loompas, there's a clog in the tube!

All the Oompa Loompas from the physical village pop out to see the promblem. Suddeny through the chocolate a face become clear. Out from the water pops out fifthteen Oompa Loompas. They start to synchronize swim as they sing the Oompa Loompa Song.

Tour Guide : Okay this is why we follow directions. If not you end up like that guy. Hey Oompa Loompas one or two of you head to the Chocolate Making room, and make sure to get that poor tourist out.

The tourist all the while is screaming for help, and baging against the tube. This helps to create a surreal experrience. All of the sudden as the boats begin to exit the room the tourist shoots up out of the tube as the chocolate flows behind him.

The boats soon flow into a tunnel surrounded with glass panes that act as video screens. Multicolored strobe lights begin to flash. The Tour Guide begins to sing The Rowing Song -

There's no knowing where we're rowing
Or which way the river's flowing

Is it raining, is it snowing (Projections of light rain and snow)
Is a hurricane a–blowing (Projection of heavy rain and lighting)

Not a speck of light is showing (All goes dark)
So the danger must be growing (Projection of embers lighten up)
Are the fires of Hell a–glowing (Projection of an inferno)
Is the grisly reaper mowing (Projection of the Grim Reaper flying by)

Yes, the danger must be growing (The tour guide begins to sing higher)
For the rowers keep on rowing (And higher seemingly possesed)
And they're certainly not showing
Any signs that they are slowing (The tour guide nearly shouts this line)

The glass panes all shatter at once causiing complete darkness. The tour guides chair swivels to face away guests. Suddenly the boats go down a 35 foot drop will a strobe light goes on. There will however be no splash from the front, but rather from the sides to avoid the tour guide from getting wet.

The boats soon float into the inventing room.  In this room, and for the remainder of the ride unless noted the tour guides will be aloud to do improv for the scenes. However it must be appropiate for familes.

Above guests are various metal grated catwalks. Al around them are metal tubes connecting to glass bowls. Other various scientific looking spiraling equipment is spread throughout the room. There are three main focal points in the room I wish to point out. One being the Fizzy Lifting Drink 2.0 bubbles spewing out of the testing area as an Oompa Loompa drining the drink is seen. He soon starts to float bottle in hand. He stops floating at the ceiling. The next focal point is the giga juicer. Atop a box of Wonka Super Grower is a ginormous blueberry. Attached to it is a pump that an Oompa Loompa is holding from a swinging metal rod. Ocassionally he'll swing away with the pipe, and juice will fall down, but he'll swing back right when the boats are about to go by. The last focal point is a pile of vines made of red licorice. A recent work of Wonka is Ever Growing Licorice, but it sadly is starting to take over. Here licorice is hanging everywhere and various Oompa Loomas are seen comically trying to tame the beast to no avail.

Suddenly an alarm goes off as all lights flash red. An announcement is made that a boat has crashed, and that all boats are needed to go back to the docks.

Tour Guide : Looks like we'll have to cut our trip short, but hopefully you'll come back on a tour so we can see it all.

The boats enter the main facility hallway as they pass by many doors. Some doors to highlight are the Wonka TV room, The Golden Egg Room, The Nut Room, and most importantly the Candy Animal Farm Room. Here guests see a boat crashed into a wall has created a hole.

Through a screen various cotton candy sheep are seen jumping around.

Tour Guide : Looks like that driver was baaaa-d. Get it Baa cause there is sheep nearby? No, okay....well here's the emeregency exit dock! Now here at Wonka Factories we believe in hospitality. So with that in mind. GET OUT! I'm sorry that was rude. Please GET OUT! Come back soon!
